Wood Buffalo RCMP Investigate Break and Enter, suspect sought
Fort McMurray, Alta – On Dec. 31, 2025 at approximately 6:29pm, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter into an apartment on Franklin Avenue, in the downtown area of Fort McMurray. Entry was made by the suspect breaking the patio glass. The suspect then departed through the main door into the apartment building hallway. Nothing was reported stolen.
Police have obtained surveillance footage of the suspect.

La GRC de Wood Buffalo enquête sur une introduction par effraction; un suspect est recherché
Fort McMurray (Alb.) – Le 31 décembre 2025, vers 18 h 29, la GRC de Wood Buffalo est intervenue à la suite d’un signalement d’introduction par effraction dans un appartement de l’avenue Franklin, au centre-ville de Fort McMurray. Le suspect serait entré en brisant la vitre de la porte-patio, puis aurait quitté les lieux par la porte principale, se retrouvant dans le corridor de l’immeuble. Aucun vol n’a été signalé.
La police a obtenu des images de surveillance du suspect.
La GRC de Wood Buffalo poursuit son enquête.
